Slovak by birth, Belgian by law, European at heart. Loves travel, philosophy, creative writing, natural sciences (physics and astronomy in particular), the Web (Drupal and the whole world of open-source), and pretty much anything intriguing.
Graduated from Technical University of Košice (Slovakia) in 1994 and from Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) in 1998. Worked as a researcher and web architect at the Union of International Associations in Brussels between 2000-2012. From February 2012 to 2017 active as a Drupal Technical Lead for Hewlett-Packard at the Flemish Authority of Belgium.
As of April 2017 Tomas expands Drupal web development services through his company Vacilando BV.
Since 2018 ICT Architect at the Flemish Authority in Brussels.
